Colin Tizzard continues good run of form with Exeter four-timer

Colin Tizzard's horses are in great form

Colin Tizzard’s string burst into life on Sunday with an across-the-card five-timer and he left Exeter celebrating four winners on Wednesday.

Russian Hawk (4-1) won the 188Bet Mobile Bet10 Get10 Novices’ Hurdle, Norse Legend justified 9-4 favouritism in the ROA/Racing Post Owners’ Jackpot Handicap Hurdle, The Russian Doyen (5-4 favourite) landed the RGB Building Supplies Beginners’ Chase and Whatcombe Heights (9-2) won the Racing UK Handicap Hurdle.

Tizzard’s 10lb conditional Harry Kimber won on Norse Legend with Robbie Power on the other three.

The Dorset handler also took his two stable stars, Native River and Thistlecrack, for a gallop after racing.

No serious questions were asked on the quickish ground, with Native River scheduled to return in the Betfair Chase where he could meet his stable companion, who also has the Ladbrokes Trophy as an option.
