Gary Moore targeting Scilly Isles success at Sandown for Benatar

Benatar Gary Moore plans to step Benatar back up in class for the Betfred TV Scilly Isles Novices' Chase at Sandown on February 3.
The six-year-old finished fourth in Grade One company over hurdles at Aintree last term and has won three times over fences this season, most recently when landing a Grade Two event at Ascot.
He beat Finian's Oscar a short head on that occasion and Moore is now preparing to switch the Ashley Head-owned gelding back up to the highest level.
Moore said: "All being well, he will go to Sandown on February 3 for the Scilly Isles. We thought about going up to three miles, but he is not a slow horse so we will stick to two and a half miles.
"He is still a young horse and I don't want to stretch him too far this year. I think Sandown will suit him.
"He has not done much since his last run. He has just had an easy couple of weeks."
