Doncaster team hoping for improvement as inspection called for Tuesday card

Doncaster action Doncaster clerk of the course Roderick Duncan is hoping for an improvement in both the ground and forecast ahead of Tuesday's meeting at the track.
Duncan has called an inspection for 3pm on Monday as the ground is currently frozen in places despite the track having been covered.
He said: "I would like to see the frost come out of the ground today. The overnight forecast is for a low of 2C, but there could still be an air frost, and then a high of 3C is forecast tomorrow.
"I would like to see an improvement in both the ground and the forecast.
"We have covered the track with fleece, but the frost has got under in places so we will have to see how it looks later today."
