Fontwell racecourse
Conveniently situated on the A27, off the Fontwell roundabout between Chichester and Arundel, it stands in the West Sussex village and features a figure-of-eight chase course and an oval hurdles course
It was where the Queen Mother had her first winner as an owner with Monaveen in October 1949 and where in 1984, John Francome rode his 1,036th career winner, passing Stan Mellor's record for a National Hunt jockey.

Jumps: | Left-hand hurdle course of about a mile round with four hurdles to jump. The chase course is a figure-of-eight with five fences per circuit, and run-in of 230yds which is slightly uphill. |
