Dundalk racecourse
Ireland's first floodlit all-weather racecourse opened in August 2007. There has been a tradition of racing at Dundalk since 1899. However, by the late 1990s the facilities were in need of major redevelopment and substantial investment in order to sustain and develop racing at Dundalk.
The 10f polytrack it is is located a mile and a half from the town centre, is just off the main M1/N1, and is 45 minutes from Dublin and 60 minutes from Belfast.
